Please can you have this customer update their DirectX components by following the instructions below:


-          Download the latest DirectX 9 update from the following link to your Windows Desktop:



-          Once downloaded, run the downloaded file from your Desktop and extract the compressed files into your "C:/TEMP" folder


-          Once the files have been extracted, navigate to your "C:/TEMP" folder and locate and run the "DXSETUP.exe" file inside


-          Follow the onscreen instructions to apply the update


Regarding the “Window not created” issue, this happens when the customer is trying to run a very old version of the software on a new OS like Windows 10, and in this case they should download the manual “ANY to 5 update” from our downloads page by doing the following:


-          Download the following “ANY to 5.0 update” zip file:




-          Unzip/extract the contents of the file into your Phoenix installation folder (usually “C:/Program Files (x86)/PhoenixRC”).


-          Open your Phoenix installation folder  (usually “C:/Program Files (x86)/PhoenixRC”) and run the “ManualInstaller.exe” application which you have just unzipped.


-          Follow the onscreen instructions to apply the update
